EFB1L Fishing Machine

The Lake Set

An updated design of our lake fishing set first introduced in 1984 and since then widely used for lake fishing in the UK and worldwide.

Supplied as a complete Lake Fishing Set, including the EFB1L Control Box, Transformer, Generator, Anode and Cathode.

Key Features:

The EFB1L lake fishing machine in an earlier format was first introduced and demonstrated successfully at the IFM Conference held at Girton College Cambridge in the 1980s.

The set includes 5 components which are sold as a complete set. The parts include the control box EFB1L, the generator which is specially converted for electric fishing use, a transformer mounted in a waterproof case, the anode and cathode.

The EFB1L is normally used for electric fishing from a boat where space is at a premium. The equipment is typically operated by a team to control the boat, operate the anode and net fish as required.

The transformer enables 6 ranges of voltage to be selected so that electric fishing can be successful in waters of low or high conductivity. The maximum output voltage range is 0-400 volts DC on the top range. If the water conductivity is such that a range of 0-200 volts DC is most appropriate then a blank plug (supplied with the set) can be fitted to the control box thereby removing the need for connecting the transformer.

Full instructions and a 3 year warranty, subject to conditions, are supplied with each machine.

All machines, electrodes and electric fishing generators designed and built by Electrafish Ltd are made to order and often customized to meet the specific requirements of the application.

These include consideration of voltage and current levels appropriate to the targeted water conductivity ratings, electrode sizing, cable lengths as well as the most suitable generator modified for safe electric fishing use.

While Electrafish manufactures a standard range of battery and generator powered electric fishing machines with standard ratings up to 400 volts and 4 Kw, we have supplied machines with outputs of 0- 1500 volts and power levels up to 10 Kw. In view of the wide variety of equipment manufactured by Electrafish Ltd, coupled with our principal objective which is to strive always to optimise customer satisfaction on all sales, please contact us, and we will be pleased to discuss your requirements and send you our best prices.
